This a great gym! I've been doing CrossFit since 2013 and I've been a member at two other well-known gyms in the area, but this has been my favorite. The classes aren't huge so the coaches can pay attention to you and give you feedback, and the people are friendly, fun and encouraging. The coaches are smart and helpful, and I'd definitely recommend this gym.- Robin Marie -
Five stars doesn't even begin to show how great CFWA is. At 35 years old, I had never been a member of a gym, so walking into CFWA for the first time was scary. It was hands down one of the best things I've ever done. Period. In the little less than two months I've been a member, I've made friends, gotten stronger and feel better and more self-confident than I've ever felt. Top-notch coaches that challenge you to be the best person you can be, the most welcoming community of members, and programming that keeps your body guessing. This place is the best.- BJ Gregorio -
Prior to joining the gym, I had been taking rowing, spinning, or TRX classes a few times a week. I was fairly motivated, but wasn't seeing a whole ton of progress. My sister had told me about Crossfit and how doing those workouts helped her to get a lot stronger so I thought I would give it a try. That change has really made a difference. I never really lifted before, and have learned a lot. I look forward to coming to class and the workouts are challenging, but can be scaled for any skill level. I have noticed a difference in not only my strength, but in my fitness level as well. The coaches are very knowledgeable and helpful. I have found that the people who work out here are some of the nicest people around. Regardless of your ability, everyone cheers each other on, and often gives a high five or tells you good job after a workout. So no matter your skill or ability level, you can do Crossfit, and it's never too late to start. This is an amazing gym and community and I would recommend it to anyone!- Jeanna Riesner -
Last year, I walked into CrossFit West Allis, slightly nervous but eager to try this "crossfit thing." I was determined to run my 3rd half marathon that fall and wanted to supplement my running with strength training. I *thought* I was in decent shape. As I stood there watching the 6:30 class finish up, I'm pretty sure my jaw hit the floor as I watched people slinging heavy barbells around, flying through pull-ups and scaling 15 foot ropes with ease. I had no idea what I had gotten myself into. I had no idea what a WOD was. Or what AMRAP meant. After foundations finished up, I was definitely interested in continuing but I still wasn't sure about all that "barbell stuff." Now 1.5 years later, it's safe to say I'm pretty much addicted to that "crossfit thing." I'm in the best shape of my life, with much more progress to be made. I ran that half marathon and got a new PR, by 9 minutes. I also PR'ed my 5k time. I've gained a new appreciation for (and addiction to) olympic lifting and powerlifting, and can't wait to hit new those new PRs. I can climb that 15 foot rope now! I'm grateful to have found an amazing place to challenge me every day, with super motivating coaches and awesome people who are just as crazy as I am to work out with. Best box in town!- Sarah Bartell -
Dropped in from Floresville Tx, enjoyed all the athletes and coaches. Great programming. Would highly recommend this gym.- Israel Rodriguez Cruz -
Dropped in from out of town and the owner Kyle was extremely welcoming and knowledgable. He was very thorough and helpful. Even with a couple years of crossfit under my belt he sent me off with some new pointers. His expertise and hospitality were greatly appreciated! Thank you Kyle and Crossfit West Allis- Jessica Rosquete -
I have been at this gym for about 6 months and I have to say I have never felt so motivated to go to a gym!! I look forward to challenging myself and working with the outstanding community of people that help and cheer each other on! I never did Crossfit before here and I don't think I will ever go back to the regular gym style! If you're looking to get a fresh start with a fresh workout that challenges you and a community of people who uplift and help motivate, this is the perfect place!!- Jessica Crawford -
